The Greek Championships of Men and Women start tomorrow

The 52nd Greek Championship of Men and the 25th Greek Championship of Women start tomorrow in Athens, and the leading chessplayers will claim the titles of Greek Champion.

Except of Aggelos Vouldis, in the Championship of Men will participate all the leading Greeks chessplayers. With their order of draw, they are:

The meetings of 1st round are: Tzermiadianos-D. Mastrovasilis, Anagnostopoulos-Papaioannou, Banikas-Th. Mastrovasilis, Nikolaidis-Mihailidis, Halkias-Symeonidis. The games will last up to 6 December.

With regard to the 25th Championship of Women, it is the most powerful championship of last years. All leading women chessplayers give the present in the games. With their order of draw, the players that participate are:

The meetings of 1st round are: Botsari-Kasioura, Fahiridou-Papadopoulou, Steiri-Kouvatsou, Sperdokli-Makka, Grapsa-Makropoulou. 

The games of the both championships will be live broadcasted daily in the internet, in the official web page of Greek Chess Federation:  www.chessfed.gr, that organises the Championships.
